How to use the store listing preview

  1. 1Upload your app icon and type your app name, subtitle and developer name.
  2. 2Add up to 10 screenshots (and optionally a header image) — they stay in your browser.
  3. 3Switch between App Store search, App Store product page and Google Play, in light or dark mode, to check readability at real size.
Real thumbnail sizes
Screenshots are shown at the size people actually see in search results, so you can judge if captions are readable.

Frequently asked questions

How many screenshots show in App Store search results?

In portrait, the first three screenshots (or an app preview video plus two screenshots) appear in search results. A landscape screenshot takes the whole row. With the new search result artwork, that image can be shown instead.

Is the preview pixel-accurate?

It's a close approximation of the store layouts for design review — sizes, cropping and text truncation match the stores closely, but Apple and Google change their UI over time.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Images never leave your device.
